Welcome to Tranwell Farm
Set in the heart of Northumberland, in the North East of England, Tranwell Farm is a third-generation, family-run mixed farm where traditional values meet modern rural life.
Farming is at the core of everything we do. As custodians of the land for three generations, we are proud to manage a mixed arable and livestock enterprise, working in harmony with the seasons and the surrounding countryside. Alongside our crops, we rear a carefully bred flock of rare breed pedigree Coloured Ryeland sheep and pedigree Poll Dorset sheep, known for their quality, character and strong maternal traits.
Over the years, Tranwell Farm has grown into more than just a working farm. We offer a welcoming DIY livery yard for horse owners looking for a friendly and supportive environment, as well as a range of countryside accommodation including self-catering stays, glamping and camping. Whether you are bringing your horse, escaping for a rural retreat, or enjoying a family break under wide Northumbrian skies, you will experience authentic farm life at its best.
We are passionate about sharing the farm with others, offering space, fresh air and a genuine connection to the land. From lambing season in spring to golden harvest fields in late summer, there is always something special happening here.
We look forward to welcoming you to Tranwell Farm.
